Digital Marketing Support Specialist:

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Support Specialist that can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment who is skilled at multi-tasking and a strategic thinker. This position is a dual role in helping the existing marketing team with digital marketing activities and also helping to validate marketing activity for sales. We need someone who can think on their feet and enjoys learning new things. When things change, you need to know how to roll with the punches.

An average day may include conducting analysis for program effectiveness and using the findings for campaign improvements and optimization; working with the marketing team to maximize existing marketing initiatives and developing new ones; working with sales teams to brainstorm and create marketing programs; validating and researching marketing leads from various sources while reporting out on lead activity.

Digital Marketing Support Specialist Job Duties:

  • Help marketing team analyze program performance and leverage key data to optimize existing programs; drive new growth strategies
  • Help marketing team drive campaigns that address customer pain points and increase adoption of IIoT through new and existing technologies
  • Verify MQL and SQL contacts from marketing for sales; provide weekly lead and opportunity follow-up report
  • Help process of assigning qualified leads to Inside and Channel sales reps; work closely with sales to leverage CRM data and optimize marketing content for the sales funnel
  • Help research competitive products by identifying product characteristics, market share and advertising
  • Continually expand digital marketing and industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications
  • Reach organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Other duties as assigned

Digital Marketing Support Specialist Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of online marketing principles and experience with web marketing best practices
  • Basic knowledge of Marketing Automation Systems
  • Previous CRM experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in both B2B and B2C marketing is a plus
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft suite of software
  • Excellent communication skills both in person and in writing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to familiarize yourself with large breadth of technical product offerings
  • A basic understanding of the interplay between offline and online, paid, earned, and owned channels. The terms SEO, SEM, social, ROI, attribution, retargeting, and benchmarking are not alien to you
